Responsibilities

Machu Picchu Offer Tours, travel agency, acts only as an intermediary agent for passengers. Its function is to arrange the services provided by airlines, bus operators, train operators, transport operators in general, hotels, tour operators and / or any other independent firm.

Machu Picchu Offer Tours does not have control over these companies, so in all travel arrangements our agency acts on behalf of our customers, organizing on their behalf the means of transportation, accommodation or other tourist services required, we assume responsibility for accidents, losses, damages, delays, inconveniences or any other type of irregularity that may be caused by defects of any vehicle, or through situations of omission, neglect or negligence of any company or person contracted by the same , to perform or carry out any service or part of the tourist service offered, as a result of acts of vandalism, strikes, wars, governmental actions, climatic conditions, or any other type of factors that imply additional expenses arising from delays, itinerary changes or other causes.

Machu Picchu Offer Tours reserves the right to accept or not any reservation request of any passenger, to any tour or tour package or to cancel or change a tour package, if circumstances so warrant. The request of any type of service requested to our company will be understood as the consent of these conditions.

Prices and Rates

All prices and rates are in US dollars and are subject to change without prior notice, until payment and due confirmation of availability have been made.

The prices and rates of the tourist packages are per person, on a double occupancy basis in standard room in all hotels and includes services, transfers, indicated excursions, specialized guides and entrance tickets (unless different conditions are specified). Prices and rates do not include extras, tips, airport taxes, airfare (unless expressly stated), excess baggage or any other trip not specified in the program.

Itinerary

Routes are planned with great care although, for operational reasons, it may be necessary to change the order of activities in the itinerary, or the specified route, and although such cases may be rare, the itinerary in general should only be assumed as a basic guide .

The company reserves the right to make changes in the order of the excursions or trips, due to weather conditions, river level, time of arrival or departure of aircraft, buses or trains or any other relevant reason, which will guarantee the best development of your trip.

Reservations

All reservations will be subject to confirmation until full payment is received for the services. In case of a timely agreement between the company and the customer, the reservation can be confirmed with a partial payment of 40% for packages with hotels of standard category and 65% for packages with superior and luxury hotels . However the balance must be canceled before the start of services.

Payments for our services can only be made as indicated in our payment methods. Once the reservation of the tourist package is confirmed to the customer by means of an e-mail with a confirmation code, this will be guaranteed, unless canceled for reasons stated under the heading of responsibilities which are totally foreign to the company.

Confirmation of the hotels are subject to availability, if there is no space in the selected hotel will be given another of similar category and price.

With respect to cancellations, refunds and refunds of money these will be regulated by the terms and conditions stipulated in the Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy.

Hotels (not included in a tour package)

Hotel reservations can only be confirmed if full payment for services has been confirmed (unless otherwise agreed). In case of a timely agreement between the company and the client, the reservation can be confirmed with a partial payment.

The client will only need to go to the hotel with the confirmation code and identify himself with his passport (if he is a foreigner) or with his national identity document (if Peruvian). In case breakfast or other food is included in the hotel’s offered rate, this will be clearly specified. The passenger must comply with the times established for the consumption of these meals according to the hotel policy. Any extra consumption not specified clearly as included will have to be paid directly by the passenger and will be solely the responsibility of this.

Air Tickets (not included in a tour package)

The prices and rates of air tickets are subject to availability and in exchange without prior notice until they have been issued. The schedules, itineraries, flight numbers and schedules of these tickets are subject to change until the date of travel by the airline.

All air ticket reservations will be subject to confirmation until receipt of the full payment for the tickets and until they have been issued. Tickets issued for the air transport service do not allow refunds and do not allow a change of route. However, only changes of dates up to 7 days prior to the original flight date will be accepted if a fee has been taken that allows, upon payment of a penalty (subject to change without notice). The service operator may modify the current conditions without prior notice.

In the case of e-tickets, it is not necessary to present them, it is only necessary for the passenger to be identified with his passport (in case of being a foreigner) or with his national identity document (in case of be resident in the country).

Airlines serve their meals or snacks according to their own policies. Passengers will be responsible for consuming them or not. Any extra consumption not clearly specified as included will have to be paid directly by the passenger and will be solely the responsibility of this and the airline for any consumption not canceled.

Bus tickets (not included in a tour package)

Prices and rates of bus tickets are subject to availability and in exchange without prior notice until they have been issued. The schedules, itineraries and schedules of these tickets are subject to change until the date of travel by the company operating the buses.

All bus ticket reservations will be subject to confirmation until receipt of the full payment for the tickets and until they have been issued. The tickets issued by concept of the bus transport service do not allow refunds, does not allow change of route and does not allow change of date. The service operator may modify the current conditions without prior notice. Bus operators serve their meals or snacks according to their own policies. Passengers will be responsible for consuming them or not.

Train Transportation Service (not included in a tourist package)

Prices and rates for train tickets are subject to availability and in exchange without prior notice until they have been issued. The schedules, itineraries and schedules of these tickets are subject to change until the date of travel by the company operating the trains.

All train ticket reservations will be subject to confirmation until full receipt of full payment for tickets and until they have been issued. Payment Policy

Our payment policy, in the case of individual passengers, requires that our services are fully canceled 15 days before the arrival of the passengers, unless different conditions are specified. In the case of groups, our payment policy requires that our services must be fully canceled 25 days before the arrival of the group together with the list of passengers, unless different conditions are specified.

Any modification to agreed services or the contracting of new services once the trip begins, will be paid directly by the passenger or, if the agency accepts it, be charged to a credit card.

Payment methods

Ways to make pre-payments to confirm the services requested:

– Money transfer by Western Union or Money Gram.

Documentation

The passenger is responsible for having in force his passport or other travel document and visas according to his nationality accepted by the laws of the governments of the countries he is visiting. In order to make the reservations you will need to have the following information for each passenger: Full Name, Passport Number, Nationality, Age, Sex. It is recommended to inform allergies, diseases, passenger conditions, characteristics of each passenger, food preferences, etc.

Luggage

The accepted weight limit on domestic flights and land service is 20 kg. (44 lb.), free of charge. The passenger is responsible for their luggage and any claim for loss or theft will have to be made directly to the transport operator.

Obligations

In case any service can not be provided by an error, fault or direct fault attributable to the service operator, the service operator will try his best to provide a solution of equal value to the service not provided. In case it can not be provided a service equivalent to the service not provided will be refunded at the actual price of the service excluding any consequences, indirect costs or any other costs associated with not performing this service. CANCELLATION, RETURN & REFUND POLICY

Individual passengers and group passengers

Note: Certain providers have more stringent cancellation policies regarding groups. During the peak season, our company reserves the right to alter cancellation policies if our suppliers apply various penalties to those listed above
